For those new to embodiment, 'About Embodiment' below provides an overview of embodiment and why it's valuable.
The Embodiment Lab is a flexible corporate program tailored to meet the needs of the organisation or individual – whether that be to reduce stress, be more authentic, improve relationships and empathy, or cultivate creativity.
The Embodiment Lab is designed to fit around the busy lives of professionals. The reality is often limited time for wellbeing activities. Entry into the Lab is a free consultation to understand each individual or organisation's goals, their starting point, and time commitment. A tailored Embodiment Program is designed to maximise the time investment and achieve the desired goals.
Embodiment Programs cover the following stages:
Stage 1 - Preparation

Participants will develop a theoretical understanding of embodiment with information from eastern meditation and yoga traditions, psychology, biology, and neuroscientific research.

Participants will undergo a one-on-one consultation to ensure they can safely enter their body.

Participants will learn meditation and breathwork exercises to improve attention regulation.
Stage 2 - Embodiment

Participants will learn meditation activities improving their ability to experience and discern body sensations.

Participants will learn meditation activities improving their ability to discern, regulate and process emotions.

Participants will learn breathwork activities to regulate the nervous system.

Participants will learn movement-based activities to deepen their mind body connection.
Stage 3 - Integration

Participants will learn meditation and movement activities promoting habituation of experiencing body sensations with equanimity.

Participants will learn breathwork activities designed for use in challenging circumstances.

Participants will practice exercises supporting exploration of embodiment in workplace scenarios related to their desired goals.
Stage 4 - Lifestyle

Participants will learn meditation, breathwork, and movement activities designed for ongoing use, tailored to each participant's goals.

Participants will create a plan to support deepening the embodiment journey.
Activities in the Embodiment Lab are inspired by Vipassana meditation, Buddhist Psychology, Jungian Psychology, and Polyvagal Theory.
A detailed proposal will be provided after an initial free consultation.

About Embodiment

Embodiment is shifting attention away from thoughts into the body, increasing direct awareness of emotions and body sensations. The depth to which attention can be placed into the body seems endless, with each new layer opening the door to further transformation.
Embodiment practices support stress reduction. A significant benefit of feeling into the body is sensing the nervous system. The root cause of much chronic stress experienced in the workplace is a dysregulated nervous system. The ability to work directly with the nervous system opens the door to transforming our relationship with stress.
Embodiment practices offer transformation in how we relate to and empathise with others. The embodiment journey creates a safe and enlightening space to explore suppressed emotions, buried traumas, and the rumination happening in our mind. As this process unfolds, we will gradually be triggered by and project our issues onto people less often. This will transform the energy we bring to relationships and allow us to understand at a deeper level what is driving other people's behaviour.
Embodiment transforms authenticity. As the embodiment process deepens it's as if layers of numbing and escaping that have kept us disconnected from ourselves are removed. We’re creating space between ourselves and the masks and facades we’ve worn, revealing the truth that lies beneath.
Embodiment improves creativity. Becoming deeply embodied creates separation between our deeper selves, rational mind, and psychological constructs. This separation creates space for new ideas, beliefs, and values to be accessed and explored.
The Liquid11 Embodiment Lab targets these outcomes:

An experiential understanding of embodiment, the benefits of embodiment, and the issues associated with disembodiment.

Understand the relationship between survival physiology, the nervous system, and stress.

A transformed relationship with emotions, thoughts, and feelings. Experientially understand how this new relationship impacts stress, workplace relationships, empathy, authenticity, and creativity.

Understand the relationship between body sensations, feelings, and the natural world.
